TARA LEIGH TAGUCHI

Tara Leigh Taguchi was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003. Her primary area of practice is municipal law, where she has lent her expertise in the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, Conflicts of Interest law, Elections law, Water law and contract negotiation/administration to various local government agency clients. Ms. Taguchi is the author of several law review publications, including the Comment, Whose Space Is It, Anyway?: Protecting The Public Interest In Allocating Storage Space In California's Groundwater Basins, 32 Sw. U. L. Rev. 117 (2003).

Ms. Taguchi holds a B.A. from California State University, Northridge and a J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was the recipient of the Judge Barry Russell Award for Outstanding Achievement in Federal Courts & Practice Course in 2002. Ms. Taguchi is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
