JENNIFER A. MIZRAHI

Ms. Mizrahi was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003. Ms. Mizrahi received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies/Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz, where she graduated with honors. While enrolled at U.C. Santa Cruz, Ms. Mizrahi attended a year abroad at University of Madrid, Complutense, where she studied international political economy.

Ms. Mizrahi currently serves as Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Victorville, Rancho Mirage, and Cathedral City. Ms. Mizrahi has experience in many facets of municipal law, including land use and zoning, land annexation, environmental law, litigation, water law, drafting legislation, Brown Act, conflicts of interest, and drafting agreements. Ms. Mizrahi serves as Planning Commission counsel for the cities of Cathedral City and Victorville.

Prior to joining GdQ, Ms. Mizrahi served as Planning Commission counsel for the City of Lynwood. While at Lynwood, she conducted various presentations to the City Council and Planning Commission on several topics, including the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, eminent domain and civil forfeiture. Of particular note, Ms. Mizrahi conducted a continuing legal education course to the City Attorney Association of Los Angeles County on city regulation and use of civil forfeiture.

Ms. Mizrahi is currently a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the City Attorney Association of Los Angeles County, and the Southwestern Alumni Association. Ms. Mizrahi is admitted to practice before the all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court, District 7, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
